Know Know Know

Have you ever noticed after you buy a new car how many people have the same kind of car?  Have you ever shared an astonishing revelation only to have others say, “Yeah, I knew that”?  It is amazing how, once you learn something, it is all around you.  Learning something new opens up new possibilities.

Knowing everything or thinking you know most everything is most limiting.  When we think we know everything we are not open to new possibilities or ideas.

There are four conditions:

  1. There is what I know.
  2. There is what I know I don’t know.
  3. There is what I don’t know I know.
  4. There is what I don’t know I don’t know.

If we have solutions we know, we never get to know what we don’t know we don’t know.  The possibilities are finite.  When we make room for getting to know what we don’t know we don’t know the possibilities become infinite.

So what to do?  I don’t know.  There is the answer, I don’t know. Share I don’t know with friends and colleagues.  See what they know.  See what they know that can contribute to what you know and expand the number of possibilities.  Very exciting!
